| May-July-2008 | Work has started on a three unit classroom with office and store block for kindergatten children in the community of Ziavi-Adukofe a village 20 minutes drive west of Ho municipality.Funding is been provided by an American family | Project expected to be completed by the end of july,2008 |
| 10 Jan.-- onwards | Our new building construction workcamp for volunteers from our partner in the United States of America starts at Kpedze.The work camp aims to construct 3 unit classroom block for kindergarten kids who are currently studying under an open shed in a very bad condition and at the mercy of the weather.Let is show them some love,they are the future leaders. |

| 20 Jan.-- April 08 | work continues on our IT training center building located at Tsyome Afedo.This project has been ongoing for the past three years and has now passed the lintel level and we hope to finish up by April of this year as soon as enough funds ar e available for it. | sourcing for funding for completion of this noble project. |
| 23 Dec.--3 Jan. 08 | The volunteer Team of DIVOG breaks for the yuletide season and there is not going to be any activity but our phone lines and email will remain active to answer enquiries from present and aspiring volunteers. |

| 1 Dec.--15 Dec. 07 | DIVOG volunteer team is starting a new painting workcamp at Kpedze Todze in the volta region of Ghana.It involves painting of six unit classroom block.It is our hope to beautify the school blocks in the town for asthetic reasons and motivation for students to learn in school blocks as beautiful as those in the well endowed schools in the big cities . |

The Director of the organisation,Disaster Volunteers of Ghana (DIVOG) was in the United States of America (USA ) to meet some new partners aswell as to promote the organisations's programs in some of the top Universties and High schools .He was in the university of Pittsburgh-Bradford,Dana Hall High School,lexington High and other places. click here for the pictures |

DIVOG has initiated construction of kindergarten blocks for kids between the ages of 3 to 6 in the Volta Region of Ghana. This volunteer program has been initiated because kindergarten have been put into the mainstream of Ghana; s education and most of the school do not have classroom at all while those that have undertake lesson in open shed which does not promote effective teaching and learning.Would be Volunteers are needed to help compliment project initiated by communities in this regard.
