DIVOG by the Numbers

• 697 – As of November 2011, DIVOG has hosted more than 700 volunteers over the past nine years.
• 200 – DIVOG has placed over 200 volunteers to work and live at orphanages in our neighboring communities
• 12 – DIVOG has constructed 12 latrines in nearby orphanages that lacked proper sanitation
• 160 - Our Teach Abroad program has placed over 160 volunteer teachers in our neighboring rural community schools
• 12 – DIVOG has built 12 three-classroom school facilities in rural villages lacking educational infrastructure
• 150 – DIVOG has placed over 150 medical volunteers in local clinics and hospitals
• 20 – DIVOG has constructed 20 modern urinal facilities at local primary, middle, and secondary schools
• 14 – DIVOG and its international volunteers have provided training in 14 communities and schools, covering topics from HIV/AIDS prevention and civic rights and responsibilities to first aid and beginner’s IT
• 150 – DIVOG built 120 classroom desks for the students in the Kpedze School District and Drifting Angels Orphanage
• 34 – DIVOG has facilitated the donations of essential materials and resources to 34 underprivileged communities, providing access to medical supplies, construction materials, food, clothing, children’s toys, and computers
• 28 – DIVOG, through its partnership with Givology, has provided 28 scholarships to promising high school students in our rural communities who were previously unable to afford school fees
