Families Vacation or Responsible Group Travel Program

Many of our volunteers are families who travel together to Ghana, returning home with an experience that shaped each member in a unique, powerful way. Volunteering abroad is a terrific way to provide children with exposure to life in an underdeveloped community, where education and clean water aren’t always a part of the daily routine. Your kids will have the opportunity to learn about community collaboration, problem solving, and the obstacles faced by less fortunate communities around the world. Everyone in the family will have the chance to contribute and make a difference, whether you’d prefer to mix cement, help out at a local orphanage, or teach English or arithmetic in the primary school. Our volunteer abroad programs will provide you and the kids with plenty of R&R, but you’ll have the unique opportunity of returning home refreshed and inspired knowing you made a difference with your time off. Wildlife reserves, artisan workshops, and breathtaking waterfalls are just a few of the destinations you can explore while volunteering in Ghana.
