Outlook Expeditions is the UK’s leading provider of life-changing overseas expeditions and adventure activity programmes for young people. For those not familiar with the youth expedition industry, an expedition is a combination of environmental or community project work, trekking and visits to places of cultural interest. Participants, aged between 11 and 21, fundraise the money to pay for their expedition. An expedition can take place anywhere in the world and Outlook offers expeditions to more than 80 destinations, across 6 different continents including such destinations as Peru, Borneo, Madagascar, Norway, Alaska, Zambia and India. These can range from 6-day journey expeditions to longer, 35-day Journey expeditions and are centred on the benefits of personal development. They include a comprehensive UK-based build-up programme where students receive intimate guidance for the pre-expedition preperations, such as personal planning and fundraising.
