Short Term Volunteering Abroad

If you’re interested in a short-term volunteer vacation, we can work with you to completely customize your itinerary while in Ghana; our most popular and recommended programs will provide you with an even balance between volunteer work and cultural immersion. Most volunteers choose a split itinerary, where half the time is spent working hands-on with the project of their choosing and the other time exploring local culture, customs, and destinations.

Examples of how you could volunteer with DIVOG:

Live and work at one of our partner orphanages, teaching the young students and helping run the day-to-day operations of the facility

 Help in the construction of a classroom or latrine, working side-by-side with the local villagers on cement mixing, bricklaying, and painting

Live in a rural community and teach at the local primary or secondary school
