Coach Football,basketball & Soccer Program Overview
Volunteers with a love of sports and a little ability can play an important part in the personal development of young men and women in Ghana. The Sports and Fitness Volunteer program allows volunteers to help with football (soccer), basketball, and volleyball coaching in schools and communities. Assist youth in increasing their physical and mental skills through exercise and aid in the development of life-skills such as team-work, communication, and self-discipline.
A Day in the Life
Volunteers help youths develop skill and passion through sports and exercise. Assist in training drills, coordinating player skills, and organizing competition among teams.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience in playing and coaching team sports.
Duration
Minimum Stay: 1 week
Maximum Stay: 6 months

Host family with typically 3 meals daily.
What to Bring
Jerseys, keeper’s gloves, footballs, boots, whistles, and other sporting apparel and equipment.
